Ewan was kind and honest and was like a supportive friend through this entire process. We wanted a honest and compassionate person to officiate our wedding and it was very short notice and we are glad to say we gained a friend and member of our community. We are a multicultural family and he accepted every need and supported every decision and helped us with making everyone in our life’s feel welcome and accepted, it was an amazingly fun day and we met Ewan the night before and he is a lovely person with a kind heart and a brilliant sense of humor and will listen to anything you have to say and genuinely wants to know you and your family/ community we will recommend him to everyone in our lives.

Ewan was the celebrant at our naming ceremony for our two children last Saturday. He was amazing. From our first meeting a year ago until the big day he has been a calming, organised presence. He got to know us and our children via several meetings and put together a truly beautiful script to celebrate our family.
It was both poignant and witty and all our guests commented on what a beautiful ceremony it was. He was so good several people were asking for his details for their own special occasions.

The amount of people who told us our ceremony was the best they’d ever been to is testament to Ewan’s great skills! We knew we wanted a light hearted and entertaining ceremony and he certainly delivered. He was engaged and interested in our story from the very first meeting and listened intently (making notes) every time we chatted. He managed to craft a perfect story that had us and our guests laughing the whole time. He was happy to include any stories we requested and also remove anything we said we didn’t want to focus on. We chose to not read the transcript ahead of our ceremony and I can really recommend this – it made it such a great experience for us to know the basic outline but be surprised and entertained along with our friends and family. His delivery is also perfect, he got lots of laughs!
